  Della Cucina is a great Southern-Italian style BYOB spot located in Hillsdale, NJ. They have only been open about 2 years, so they are still relatively new and should be considered a hidden gem. My girlfriend and I tried it for the first time on Valentine's day 2017. I was glad I made a reservation, because the place was packed!!! We were welcomed with some warm bread and quickly had our water glasses filled (you can always tell a good Italian restaurant if the bread comes out hot!). The appetizers we decided to get were the eggplant rollatini and Della Cucina's signature 3 types of bruschetta (located in my pictures). The eggplant was delicious as was the bruschetta (the ricotta with the honey glaze was my favorite!). My girlfriend had the Calamari and Shrimp Fra Diavolo, and I had the Chicken Napoletan. Both were large and quality portions. Delicious!!! We enjoyed it so much we returned the same week on Saturday for a family member's birthday. Everyone loved it and it was added to our list of "go-to" places for family celebrations. Try here! You will not be disappointed.
